Sylvie Loudieres
Sylvie Loudières is a self-taught artist who has realized her dream of opening her own painting studio and gallery: “L’Angle du 13” in Aurillac in Cantal department. After having worked 25-year as a financial adviser, she now devote herself to her artistic passion and profession.
She likes to explore the material, using old recipes by creating her paints based on pigments, inks, lime, tempera, casein, animal glue, etc. Her painting is a combination of observation, harmony and tenacity, letting go with the flow of her feelings. She leaves room for artistic freedom to express her insight, mixed with some personal research. She develops her ecological penchant by combining creativity with recycling.
She is particularly fond of cardboard as a material, using it as the raw material for objects, frames and cardboard furniture to which she enjoys adding a patina with her own paint. She also runs courses and workshops.
