The artist's biography

“Amor Amor” – K.TIA

Born in Fécamp in the Seine Maritime department in 1972, K-TIA has been drawing and creating since her childhood. After studying advertising and attending the School of Fine Arts in Mulhouse, she took up furniture painting and worked for Jean-Pierre Besenval in Paris. She is very prolific, creating works in the Venetian style, which is very highly valued by lovers of 18th and 19th century art. It was during that period that she started having exhibitions. She was awarded the jury’s prize for her overall achievement at the International Arts Show in Etain in 2004.

Easels, canvasses, brushes and tubes of paint liven up her studio, where unusual characters come to life, the Z’amours. These imaginary figures, drawn in the naïve manner, they bring with them all the beauty of a world where blue hair, childlike women and even warm and brilliant colours symbolizing Love rub shoulders. A homage or idealistic wonderment? What does it matter? Life is so wonderful!
