"Farandole" by Sandra Benielli

Sandra Benielli is a self-taught contemporary painter.

Drawn to the graphic arts from a very early age, she took up painting in adulthood.

Inspired by modern art, her early canvasses are abstract compositions in which she already expresses her liking for symmetrical forms and harmonious colours.

A creator through and through, always searching for new tones to master, new forms to tame and new supports to use, it was only natural that in 2008 she contacted Faïenceries et Emaux de Longwy ( ) and offered to create a collection for them.

Attracted by her original style of drawing and her rich colours, Arnold Kostka, CEO of Faïenceries et Emaux de Longwy, gave her carte blanche.

From this collaboration, in 2009 she produced SANGARé, a colourful universe full of stylized animals concealed in an entanglement of lines where lions, bulls, gazelles and exotic birds animate this first collection.

In 2011, Sandra Benielli drew inspiration from her new canvasses on the theme Mon jardin divers (my diverse garden) to create Tourbillon (whirlwind), her second collection for Emaux de Longwy.
She reveals her artistic vision of what a wild colourful garden could be, formed by intertwined bulbs and buds that blossom, hidden from view, and release magnificent black stylized flowers.

Early in 2011, her collaboration with Mr Delos led to the creation of an artistic umbrella displaying Farandole, one of her favourite paintings.

Sandra Benelli lives and works in Corsica; her passion for painting has now become her profession.

Her online art gallery is the outcome of a plan enabling her to collect and exhibit all her artistic creations.
