"Europe" by Christiane Caseneuve

Christiane Caseneuve displays a mastery of drawing, blending of colours and perspective, acquired during her studies of painting, engraving and sculpture in the Paris School of Fine Arts, which lets her explore all forms of pictorial art, from watercolours to oils and from the portrait to the abstract. She has retained the colours and natural pigments of her nomadic life in the sunshine of Africa and Corsica, displaying a taste for hybrid techniques combining "home-made" paper, collages, painting and engraving. Christiane Caseneuve is a Bohemian, travelling the world through her painting on a voyage of discovery, experimenting, imagining and showing her enthusiasm! Unassuming and modest, she lets us discover her studio in Aurillac, all the images and faces pervading her work like childlike unfolding on a blank screen of time, a time forever happy; a blissfully happy moment!
